Deej (Andrew DeGiorgio) and Trish are a salsa partnership - they met at Salsa York. They teach CBL style salsa in York and Wetherby and have gained a strong following there, so much so, that recently they were joint winners of the Twelfth Night Award for Services to Regional Salsa. Their laid-back style and sense of fun are very popular. We liked them so much we have them back regularly at Salsa-Amor @ The Black Swan. Come and see why for yourself - you won't be disappointed!
Doors open at 7.30pm every Friday night.
Beginners/Improvers salsa lesson - 7.45 - 8.30pm
Intermediates lesson - 8.45 - 9.30pm
Club Salsa until midnight (1am on Salsa-Amor Extra nights - usually the 1st Friday of each month)
Admission - £6 (Students £5) After 10pm £4 (Students £3)
Everyone is welcome! There is no need to bring a partner or to book. You will find a lively, sociable and non-threatening atmosphere. Wear light clothing and shoes with a smooth, non-gripping sole. Classes are informal and fun! The Salsa Amor team try to bring you some of the best teachers from around the country and abroad.
